| The Indian River Land Trust promotes the preservation, conservation, and improvement of natural resources and special places in Indian River County, Florida, for the benefit of the general public and future generations.
As we develop our programs, it is our goal to:
Protect and link the natural areas, agricultural lands and special places of Indian River County by working with landowners who want to conserve the unique and natural features of their properties. The Land Trust will work with landowners to meet their individual conservation goals using a variety of land protection methods, including donations and outright purchases of properties or Conservation Easement agreements;
Provide for appropriate educational and/or recreational use of conservation areas by the public to foster a better understanding and deeper appreciation of Indian River County’s unique natural environments; and Promote sound growth management in Indian River County with respect to the land and water resources that define the quality of life in our communities.
